Aurora Aksnes is the name of a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996. She's professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name could be also stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015 and received great reviews from musicians and music blogs as well as press. The singer has released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis as a Christmas commercial from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway by her, has given it some more recognition. It was her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft, and becoming fascinated by the music. Her parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to explore music and not just as professional or as a pastime, but for growth. She began to write with her own music. Her inspirations include famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her affinity with Bjork's style. The singer decided to perform her music in public when her mother suggested that they might help others not be famous with the work she does, but to help the people around them understand the significance of what they do and how they can affect the world. Her first piano lessons began at the age of six, and began composed music by the age of nine. Her family didn't know that she had begun until 14. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. Her words say that she simply loves writing music. Music is for her the most effective way to experience whatever.
